The best thing the NCAA can do is put a wait period on the other side of the portal. This will temper both jumpy players and NIL money offers.

If this doesn't happen, the Portal will ruin college football and basketball.

Even if there is a wait period, players will sit out a bowl game if an offer will be coming.

So far via this site....which I find fairly up to date/accurate. Still at 0 players in portal. A bunch listed for others....still at 0 for UL so far.

ULM has two 4 star in portal. LTURd..... their best WR and a fairly decent DL.

Once you enter the portal, you're off the squad. There's nothing like Coastal where they allow players to still play in the bowl game.

Agreed, this could be an easy fix to just go back to. The NIL is tied up in so many legal issues they wont mess with it now. I would even be ok with only allowing to play immediately if a head coach leaves to go to another school (unless you follow the coach to that school)

That’s laughable. Lots of b hurt coming for those with FBS dreams. FCS could benefit most.

That won't work. Players are in portal to get larger NIL payouts. Des and staff has no larger payouts to offer.....we'd get at best whatever is left.

It can’t all be about NIL. I’m sure a 1/3 are just looking for playing time. I’d also be ok with grabbing FCS players with a ton of playing time.
