There should be planning going on right now for that JMU game. Bring back the Chicken, whatever. This is a big game. One of the biggest in the Cajundome in quite a while.

With the crowds we have today, if someone is in another’s paid seat and not willing to move, then handle the situation. Until then, who cares!
So, I pay extra money for good seats, but you say it’s ok for people who paid far less to be able to sit in the same seats? That’s pure BS. Want the better seats, pay for them, like a lot of us do.

Any word on Blake Butler's injury?

I agree with this, but the game was in the 2nd half and these seats were in sections where there were maybe 3 people sitting in.

Same tickets are $10 with no fee at the box office before walking into the game

Looked like he just banged knees. Duplantis wasn't really looking at him on the sideline.

There's a difference between a free for all before or even early in the game and later in the game. If it's clear that there are open seats, I'm good to let people trickle down. Create a demand. Maybe they like the seats and want to make sure they get them next time. New tickets sold. This is the same as the tailgating, parking, etc. dilemma. We need to create more fans, more excitement, more reason to pay more for things. Sorry to those that have been doing it for years. It's a sacrifice that will need to be made in order to grow the fanbase.

This was not an Official Biddy Basketball night. No announcement through our Biddy database was made. Our program is the biggest youth Basketball league in Southwest LA with over 1000 kids and families involved. It may have been a youth basketball night, but nothing was run through us. The men’s coaching staff has denied the players to be involved with any Biddy Basketball activities with our program. A program ran by former UL Mens and Women’s Basketball ALUMNI. Make that make sense. Denying NIL appearances and chances to interact with the basketball youth of our community through Acadiana Biddy is completely ridiculous. We wonder why only 1000 people show up for UL home games when our team is the DEFENDING CHAMPS. The kids of the community who love basketball can’t name a player on the team. Until we bridge the gap the dome will be virtually empty. They announced 1500, but it was more like 500. Why would a coach deny his players from being apart of our Biddy Program to come and see all the kids who would love to meet them and then probably tell their parents , mom, dad , BRING ME TO THE GAME!!!

Great post. Doesn't make sense to me, either.

Yeah, ok…..when that happens late in the game I agree.

But lately, esp last season, we had numerous times where usurpers were in our seats, or seats near us, before t/o. And they weren’t very nice about it when they were told them they were in someone’s seats. Seats that cost a lot of money. We even have had others from our areas in our seats because they said that someone had taken their’s, lol. So instead of getting them to leave they sat in our seats. Just crazy.

We had the same issue in the UD this year. It’s always been bad, but was worse this year. And what gets us is the sense of entitlement these creatures have about it.
