A few of you…let’s be accurate.

If you chose to do other wise, that’s your decision. And although I don’t agree I understand why you are doing it.
What would you consider dire circumstances? I’m really curious.

Because I know what I consider dire circumstances and they are not the same as most.

There are attendance figures on our website going back to the 01-02 season. I very well could have missed some, but I only found 5 games in that timespan with an attendance lower than last night’s. Nothing the team can do but go out and win games, but it may be time for our administration to stop sitting on their hands and use them to press the panic button.

Reset button is the only thing that will get fans re-engaged.

Don’t know how many times I’ve posted this. OVERALL, MBB attendance has been declining since we moved to the dome. Nobody noticed the trend until the last few years?

I was the biggest Marlin supporter thru the Shawn Long years and shortly after. But I’m done. Have only been to 2 games in last 2 years when I never missed home game for 8+ seasons.
You missed some exciting games and good team play last season. Our one home game against a D1 opponent this season was also entertaining. As much as this season’s team relies on the 3 ball, tough to predict how rest of this season will go.

2 straight tournament appearances may help.

Fun fact: possibly the best in game one man dunk show the Cajuns had, Alonzo Allen’s 360, 180 and passed to self off the backboard, was against a sparse crowd against Fredonia State. In Blackham. Just sayin’.

That would be nice, but until he proves it can be done I have my doubts.

The men’s coaching staff has denied the players to be involved with any Biddy Basketball activities with our program. A program ran by former UL Mens and Women’s Basketball ALUMNI. Make that make sense. Denying NIL appearances and chances to interact with the basketball youth of our community through Acadiana Biddy is completely ridiculous. We wonder why only 1000 people show up for UL home games when our team is the DEFENDING CHAMPS. The kids of the community who love basketball can’t name a player on the team. Until we bridge the gap the dome will be virtually empty. They announced 1500, but it was more like 500. Why would a coach deny his players from being apart of our Biddy Program to come and see all the kids who would love to meet them and then probably tell their parents , mom, dad , BRING ME TO THE GAME!!!
    Preach brother.
