I doubt that the New Orleans Bowl would want the Cajuns this year because the game is scheduled for 1:30 CST on 16 December. That means a lot us of could (and I would) round trip the game and avoid staying in New Orleans. The economic impact would be reduced.

Hell yeah! Bowl game in the dome always wins as far as I'm concerned. The opponent doesn't matter to me unless it's a P5, and I don't see that happening.

The bowl itself is more worried about tickets than economic impact.

Being Jax State's first Bowl, they will bring several thousand to NOLA, if they go.

While NOLA is always fun, Jax State will be pumped, and I would rather play elsewhere if it means we get a non-CUSA, non-MAC opponent.

Payout is larger in Texas if they want UL. Is the NO Bowl during the day this year, if it's not no way will I attend.
