    So there was a $17 million payout to the conference. It was just distributed in a socialist manner so UCONN only saw $2.5 from the conference

    The payout is the payout. It goes to the conference. In 2011, UL had a huge payday. In 2012, they changed it to where payout goes to conference and offsets any bowl losses for other schools.

    Ticket money varies by bowl. Some give you a certain percentage. Some give you a certain percentage over X no. of tickets sold.
    This is what I thought was the case.

    Reporting Coastal to Hawaii. Probably announced early because of the logistics to get there.

    Is bowl revenue shared with all conference members? If so, with 12 of 14 schools in bowl games, members should fare pretty well overall, yes?

    In SBC, all income to the conference, including bowl revenue, is put in the general distribution pot and distributed evenly among the members.
