I was just pleasantly surprised looking on 247.

Eventhough we only have seven verbal commitments at the moment, one of them is Vosky Howard, a WR from Timpson, TX. If he does indeed sign with us, he would be the highest rated 247 recruit to sign with the Cajuns in our history. He has a 3 star/.8825 ranking compared to Harvey Broussard (our #3 all time recruit) who was a 3 star/.8744 ranking.

I am sure, but was just surprised of how low key that commitment has been. I remember people being super pumped when we got Harvey Broussard, but have been quiet on this one. Probably because he isn't local and we haven't had eyes on him.

Harvey Broussard was a signing day announcement. That was the first we heard about it and was the only not known commitment

I believe he will. He made the commitment to a team head coached by CMD. I could be wrong, but all of the former TP guys were commits to CBN.

To me this year's transfer portal will be the first true measure of Coach Des. There is now two seasons under his belt and the results were mediocre. If he is able to hold onto his premier players, then I would say he has a very good handle on the locker room.

Mostly because Baldwin liked to load up on Prop 48 prospects that were P5 prospects but couldn’t qualify. He got a lot of talented players that way but many never made it to see the field

Been on the Timpson campus many times. Thats a good find in a small town in the middle of nowhere Tx.
