If the P5 breaks away this is, exactly what the result will be a bunch of 6-6 teams and a couple dominate teams.

A conference beating each other up and going 6-6 doesn’t always mean mediocre. It can, but not always.

There were several other P5 games that 'Belt teams lost by small margins. And we had even better showings in past years.

We've never been in a conference with this many big-time upsets.

So is the 'Belt mediocre? Or is it just that there is great parity in the 'Belt?

Because the SBC is a meat grinder. The only way any conference gets 12/14 teams eligible is with a ton of 6-6/7-5 teams. Its how the math works.

The SBC teams won a wide margin of their OOC games, much like the Cajuns. It’s the conference games everyone is breaking even or losing.
