Because the SBC is a meat grinder. The only way any conference gets 12/14 teams eligible is with a ton of 6-6/7-5 teams. Its how the math works.

The SBC teams won a wide margin of their OOC games, much like the Cajuns. It’s the conference games everyone is breaking even or losing.

I believe they get a bowl ahead of 5-7 teams. Ncaa threw them a bone. Not sure if Jax state gets that deal as well.
