We need four QBs, 3 games each, that way when you add bowl of conf title nobody goes over 4 and everyone redshirts every year and we can have the qb debate threads forever!

A good OC can pattern his offense around the QB not have to have all his QBs come from a cookie cutter mold.
This is why I started a thread on Nelson Stokley a week or so ago.

Brian Michell and Jake Delomme. Stokley adapted his offense to fit the personel.

Brian Mitchell super mobile, Jake Delhomme, not so much.

Although Jake did rush for 60 yards vs the Panthers in a game where Iron Head Hayward could only muster 15 yards.

Cajun T and Louisiana B gave us the stats. I'd love to hear your reply.

His completion percentage was 66.7 and Fields 70.9 percent. And while Zeon was on a shorter lease when it came to the route tree, Fields was still throwing the swing passes and quick outs as well. Those are part of the play book. If you add total snaps at QB including non-starts Zeon average 61.5 yards per game on the ground. Fields averaged 1.7 yards per game. That is why he was playing over Fields, like it or not.
The all time season record for completion pctge is 78pct and 70.5 pct for freshmen, doesn't seem like cajuns are too far off from either

That depends. With Ben coming back next year, will we see another QB competition?

A couple of things are not being factored in this discussion. First, we all know Zeon has been contacted indirectly by other programs. But, now I would think his options will be limited because there is a good chance he won't be able to participate in spring.

Ben was still on a cart for the ULM game, will he be cleared to practice by spring? If Zeon remains, which is more likely than before he was injured, he is the guy. They made that decision clear when he started over Fields. Now, if Ben is cleared to play it makes sense that he returns because of his leadership and experience in FBS football. Otherwise, your QB room will be filled with freshmen and RS Freshmen QB's as backups. That is not exactly a good position to be in considering Zeon could very well be inured again in the type of offense ran by this staff.

I don't understand how they start Ben over Zeon.

Indirectly? Why not report the tampering asap?
