Since the whole College Football world is amazed at what JMU and its' supporters demonstrated to America this past Saturday, I looked back to get the whole picture.

Gameday began in 1987 as an in-studio program.

In 1993, the first road trip was made to none other than 1. FSU vs. 2. Notre Dame.

As for the broadcasts immense popularity, let's see when and where it's three biggest crowds were,

To your earlier question about how they reach their calculated attendance, I actually called up espn. Simply put "the school gives us their calculation" (the exact answer we'd all guess lol)
