I enjoyed the fact that of all the conference championship banners we had hanging in the Cajundome, the largest banner in there says "R1 Top-Tier Research University"

That R1 accomplishment is great, but the banner means absolutely nothing and not understood by the tens of thousands that enter the dome each year.

I have never accused LSU of copying anything you mentioned.

I used the phrase "in answer to" I did not say copy.

I have said using the "L" and using "Louisiana" as a stand alone reference will dilute the well established LSU brand.
