We need a legitimate tailgate area!! Not some bs stage by the baseball field!

    TV don't care.

As long as students show up The Campus Swamp would blow any other game day location out of the water.

I remember for North Dakota state they had game day set up downtown Fargo…doesn’t have to be next to stadium.

Why? We can do it there. Herbstreit is doing game day at JMU in the morning and calling the game in Corvallis this evening. Surely we could make something like the quad of Cypress Lake work.

We don’t have a proper place where fans can congregate like a championship square, or a tailgate villiage. This is part of the problem with Cajun Football.

Fans are not congregating at Cypress Lake or the Quad before games.

Students would show up for game day…now getting them into the stadium is a whole other question

    GEAUX CAJUNS!
They don’t want that here. How many times do we have to go over this, it will not happen here until the attitude towards students completely changes.

Spending 65 million on a new stadium I don’t see why we can’t do something like this this takes minimal effort!

There has to be a new car wash or Mexican restaurant grand opening that could hold this event. Would definitely grab the locals attention if gameday is there within a week of it opening.

Now I am talking to any person that is in charge!!

How hard would it be to do something like this at Cajun Field this is minimal effort!

This is exactly I been talking about on this forum for years!

Why couldn’t we do this ?

We could put this in the NEZ parking lot!

A smaller version of the Campus Swamp would be "Happening 365".

Anything else, 6 days a year.

We could, very easily. We won’t, because they don’t believe it would attract the right crowd. Imagine the liability.

When the stadium is complete and exec office are built on the east side of the stadium, tear down the Cox Bldg. and build a Quad or Champions Square between the APC, baseball stadium and football field. At that time, consider moving the tennis complex to create more room for that. That will be huge in getting students and fans to our games.
