    Perhaps 3.
    His challenge is not just his lack of experience and knowledge which may or may not make him a better Head Coach, the greatest deficit will be his inability to attract successful staff with winning program that in turn will attract the best G5 level talent to UL. I said it from hearing about his hire, this is going to be a spiral to the bottom. I know he’s a Ragin Cajun through and through, but the school did him a disservice by hiring him. I feel bad for him, but he should not continue being the head coach if UL cares about winning more than 5-6 games per year.

    A running game and this offense would have been unstoppable.

    Turbs- I’ve personally seen him in the weight room on Sundays after the previous 2 games . Just an observation

    He’s played pretty well tbh

    I have no problem with regular weight lifting.

    ps Next week Cajun Fields will be lights out accurate.

    Maggard said when he hired him that nothing was broken so that's why he got the job. Finishing in the bottom 1/4 of the sbc regardless of bowl win is broken.

    Agreed.. obviously I want to win on Saturday and then win a bowl game for a winning record.. but being 5-6 going into the last week of the season again.. against this schedule? Inexcusable.

    This team wins by running the football. In our wins this season, we averaged 240.2 yards rushing compared to 128.5 yards average rushing in our losses. We have nearly twice the rushing yards in our wins compared to losses. We had one of the best o-lines in this conference for a period of time, we need to get back there.

    Burton going down vs. South Miss was an absolute game changer.

    Second to last in the SBC West. USM has tie breaker over UL.

    Defense was there in the first quarter then gave up 31 in 3 quarters.

    The offense score three times as many touchdowns as Troy has given up * all year.

    * to a conference opponent.

    Since, the South (USA) game we haven't seen the win column again. That was a great piece of work and a huge win. Jonesboro was just awful, asleep at the wheel. Southern Miss which I wasn't even able to witness sounds like the wheels simply fell off. As for last night, we looked sharp once again in Bama. I am not one who "blames the refs" but today I AM. That PI call ended our opportunity to get back in the win column. CMD has more people sharpening pitch forks today than even before yesterday's fight, but 100% that WAS NOT PI.

    UL will finish the season with 1 win against a team with a winning record. To add on this schedule is currently ranked 120th in the nation.
