    It is what it is.

When NMSU was independant they scheduled Auburn.

They joined CUSA and kept the game vs Auburn.

When you have more opportunities, your chance of success rises.

I graduated from NMSU in 95, never had a good football team. Proud Aggie tonight though.😁

Your theory is asinine. They are what happens when a program makes a great hire. Nothing to do with having a cup of coffee as an independent.

Cajun Fields was rusty in his first game out of the weight room but he has really shown his stuff the last two games.

Chandler has been, seeing the whole field.

I think our guys played good ball much of the time. But we are not good enough to overcome mistakes.

Question. Was the offense bad too or was it just the defense? If that’s the case, keep Dez. Roll Morgsn

Absolutely the coaching hire is most important.

As an independant any day that was open for Auburn was open for NMSU.

The game matchup has everthing to do with the options being an independant provided.

Now in case you havent been paying attention. That boat has sailed for Louisiana. I havent promoted going independent all year.

That doesn't mean I won't be blind to the advantages it once would have offered.

If independent is so great, there were 19 independent programs in 1983. Today 4, including the constant, Notre Dame. That leaves Army, UMass and UConn.

Proving what I have always said going Independent is the best path to getting noticed and an invite to the confernce of your choice. Not the perfect path, the best path.

Now, with the Super Conferences aiming towards 9 conference games a year, it is simply not feasable.

Our boys balled out tonight. That was a solid team we just played. That type of performance needs to be more consistent. Gotta beat ULM.

When was the last time Louisiana hit 12 different recievers?

I know two are out, but this year Louisiana has had the best trio of quarterbacks they have ever had.
