    So 5 to 9.
Yea I knew that played good programs but wanted to point out their 13 game win streak in their 2nd FBS season. Victory tomm and they have a longer win streak than we have ever had.

WTH is in this contract? How long till they can actually go to a bowl, much less their own Conference Championship?

So, my understanding is they (JMU) were FCS, one of the main points in the agreement, allowed players from D1 to transfer into that lower division without having to sit out, which could supposedly give them an advantage when they moved up to the upper division. But with the portal and the "no longer having to sit out rule" no longer in effect, wouldn't that nullify one of the important sticking points of the contract that was originally signed? Maybe Vic could answer this one?

And oh yea, contracts are made to be broken!

I hate the rule and I hate that a Sun Belt school is going to miss out on a possible NY6 spot. With that being said, rules is rules.

Question: Would this even be a thing if JMU was 6-4 right now? I don’t think so.

That’s your question. What they would do IF isn’t important at all.

Nobody spends money and time on litigation unless it matters.

There is no doubt that the NCAA has a monopoly on major college football which may well implicate antitrust issues.

JMU should take a shot at it especially as it appears that the overriding reasons for the rule no longer exists and for all practical purposes the applicable rules were more of the overbearing hand of the NCAA and the high and mighty over the little guy.

Besides JMU needs to go instead of Tulane

    And All That

Exactly. If players can transfer colleges and are eligible to play right away, then if a college transfers to another conference, they should be eligible immediately for conference championship and bowl play.

    Yes! Yes, we do!

And many predicted the day would come when the haves and have nots amongst the players would create drama.

And here it is, only 60 miles to our east. What a circus.
