Want to sell more season tickets? Make it so that people who want to go to the marquee game of the season buy season tickets to guarantee they have a ticket for that one game. I know LSU baseball fans that will do that when they come to the Tigue. Supply should never exceed demand.

    A few questions:

    1. Will the Press Box be on the East side and is that expected to be completed at the same time? Is this what is already funded by the state?
    2. Will athletic executive offices be built on the East side along with the Press Box?
    3. If so, will the Cox Bldg. then be torn down allowing for building a quad?
    4. Will the stadium West side extend to make the endzone seating symmetrical as the grass seating will apparently remain?
    5. What about the new Scoreboard?

The video says there is "more to come". Presumably, these questions will be answered shortly after today's rollout. Or, can you answer those now?
    1. Temporary press box will be on the East side while West is under reno. Then once reno done in 2025, East side reno will hopefully be started.
    2. Yes
    3. Yes (unsure about plans after Cox is gone)
    4. Yes
    5. I have no info of the scoreboard, but several in-the-know posters here have said a new scoreboard is in the plans

Hahaha! Yeah I mean that’s how drinks have been handled on the upper deck for the past two to three seasons.

Grab your drink out of the cooler, walk up and pay the girl.

Did anybody see Michigan at Penn state, you should have seen the nose bleed corner the Michigan fans were in.... we always give the visiting team tickets that are too good, and way better than they give us or others give their opponents

I can confirm this is true! A much needed addition for those OCD types. Jokes aside it will be nice to even things out.

It’s like that at several NFL stadiums and updated college stadiums around the country. It’s basically a grab and go setup with self checkout. The area is fenced in and you have to go in and out of a monitored area

The New Home of Louisiana Football

Louisiana Athletics announces its $65 million project to renovate the west side of Cajun Field, the most significant improvement to the facility since its inception in 1971.

The project is anticipated to be completed before the 2025 season. The Our Lady of Lourdes Stadium west grandstands will be completely revitalized and create a modern gameday experience that embraces the rich history of festivity within the Cajun culture.

“This project will transform the gameday experience for Cajun Nation,” Vice President for Intercollegiate Athletics Dr. Bryan Maggard said. “From the premium seating products, a new lower west bowl, and state-of-the-art amenities, Our Lady of Lourdes Stadium will be a premier venue improving the overall atmosphere for our fans and student-athletes. This project would not have been possible without the support of our university administration, Our Lady of Lourdes, and so many other investors.”

The new west side will feature 34 suites, 40 loge boxes, 524 club seats, an indoor club, five new chairback sections in the lower west bowl and enhanced amenities for all fans with a total capacity of more than 30,000.

Premium seating opportunities in Lourdes Stadium will revolutionize the way Ragin’ Cajuns fans take in the action for every game. Each premium seating area from luxury suites, club seats, and loge boxes offers something unique that has never been available at Cajun Field.

Visit the stadium website at www.buildthecULture.com to stay up to date on the progress of the stadium and view all renderings.

For information on how to contribute to the project, contact the RCAF at (337) 851-7223 or RCAF@louisiana.edu

A press conference will be held at 1:30pm, fans can watch the live stream by clicking the button below!(link above)
