I’m not in favor of 25k seating if in fact this is the seat capacity, when our top 10 attendance marks are all above that. 30k would be fine.
Keeping people out (due to demand, not incompetence) will only help drive interest, not the opposite. 25-28k is the right number.

Tell me you haven't been to Cajun Field recently without telling me that you haven't been to Cajun Field recently.

We've broken a 25k average 5 times in 50 years of Cajun Field. We need to make it the place to be and not everyone gets in.

What will it take to get into the Mcelliott Club?

In addition to that, we were a bad football team in about 40 + of those years.

It’s one of the smallest parts of the new stadium but one of my favorites. Looks like the west side lower bowl will extend to the north endzone as far as the east side making the horseshoe symmetrical!!! Woohoo!! That always bothered me. Those drone shots will be so much better. Haha

    1. The stadium will be easily the best in the state, amongst our peers. LSU is a different beast all together, the head start they were provided is insurmountable.

    2. Construction is actually happening and will be done right.

    3. The east side will be just as nice and is already earmarked for funding.

    4. Lowered capacity which will make it a more intimate and intimidating environment.

    Negatives

    1. They will 100% price themselves out of more fans.

    3. ESPN and the SBC contract better double per school payout sooner than later.

    4. Pricing will have our viewership on ESPN+ increase. That could be seen as a positive, but it’s a negative.

    5. Long term schedule still sucks. We need App to be our first home SBC game in the new stadium. But Maggard (has no say, but should push for it) and the SBC won’t make it happen.
Beautiful stadium rendering. Exciting times for UL!

    A few questions:

    1. Will the Press Box be on the East side and is that expected to be completed at the same time? Is this what is already funded by the state?
    2. Will athletic executive offices be built on the East side along with the Press Box?
    3. If so, will the Cox Bldg. then be torn down allowing for building a quad?
    4. Will the stadium West side extend to make the endzone seating symmetrical as the grass seating will apparently remain?
    5. What about the new Scoreboard?

The video says there is "more to come". Presumably, these questions will be answered shortly after today's rollout. Or, can you answer those now?

Want to sell more season tickets? Make it so that people who want to go to the marquee game of the season buy season tickets to guarantee they have a ticket for that one game. I know LSU baseball fans that will do that when they come to the Tigue. Supply should never exceed demand.

    1. Temporary press box will be on the East side while West is under reno. Then once reno done in 2025, East side reno will hopefully be started.
    2. Yes
    3. Yes (unsure about plans after Cox is gone)
    4. Yes
    5. I have no info of the scoreboard, but several in-the-know posters here have said a new scoreboard is in the plans
