Finally got a chance to watch it. Heard that number. But he also didn’t address the East side plans (understandably). But if that renovation is going to match the new west side bowl it seems we’d lose some seats when it’s done. Time will tell. But today’s official news was OUTSTANDING. Looking forward to seeing it in person.

We will lose some seats when the east side is complete. I’m hoping that the east side will include the club seating and lounge. I understand that the athletic department offices, student athlete center, press box and some other operations will occupy the east side.

But just for symmetry purposes, I hope the club seats are included.

They can go a long way to keeping the stadium full by also focusing on the GameDay experience. A 7-5 team where home games are fun to attend will have just as many fans as a 9-3 team with the same old in-game experience

Safe bet that the marketing push will focus almost entirely on season tickets.. Still going to need someone to focus on in-game fan engagement

What a day today! So excited for the future. Now let’s go get to a bowl and win that bowl somehow to get some momentum !

Not only did he not address the east side of the stadium, he avoided it. The guy is leaving that to whoever follows him because he is done here. He looked nervous yesterday. If the east side is not as good as the west side it will look like a mansion parked next to a shack. It will literally look half-azzed.

I agree, are both sides due to be done in 2025? Or is it another project that gets kicked down the road for someone else to finish?

SDSU's stadium is nearly triple the distance from campus as ours. And they can't make the argument of its an athletic campus since football practice field, baseball and softball fields are dead center on main academic campus. And they have to pass a major interstate...

    Getting warmer.......

People have to be able to sit somewhere.. So if any changes are to be made to the East side seating, they can't start until the West is open for business in 2025.

They will be trying hard to sell season tickets in 2025 to see the "new stadium", but the stadium may not even be finished until 2027.

And somehow this whole thing will end up costing north of $100m while Tulane just built Yulman for 75

So, in reality there's phase one (west) and then phase 2, (east)....why not be transparent, position it as a 3 or 4 year project to complete...instead all they've done is create confusion by not mentioning the west side...

Is the money raised for the east side?
