Giving feedback is not hating something especially if it is the customer doing it.

. . . if I give a compliment, it is earned . . . it's remarkable how many Cajun fans show up here and do their darndest to throw down on Louisiana, its coaches and players . . . and then there is MH . . . wow . . .

. . . I agree, but the constant degradation of everything Louisiana rises far above a classification of feedback . . . feedback comes in many forms, some of which is usually positive . . . otherwise all it becomes is pile on . . . I bring you back to Levi Lewis, one of the most successful QB's in Louisiana history and the most if it is judged by record and there was almost nothing but harsh posts here for three years . . . what you call that . . . and now that level is being surpassed with CMD . . .

So JAB won’t reveal what college he supports. It’s weird to focus on another though. He’s told us that himself. I’m sure he’ll realize the error in his ways soon and move on.

JAB what about NFL…high school…equestrian sports…tell us more about your unbelievable fandom.

    . . . so, one can't be a Louisiana fan unless he is solely a Louisiana fan . . . and we wonder why we can't steadily raise attendance . . .

Where did I say that? JAB thinks it’s weird and obsessive when UL fans talk about other schools, but here he is: a nonUL fans devoting his time to showing our misguided fans the true ways of the world. That’s benevolence if I’ve ever seen it.

. . . havnt paid much attention to him but possibly his words of wisdom could be important and instrumental to developing attendance from outside sources . . .

Martin Hall has made itself into a cocoon hard to present ideas to.

David Schexnaider used to have monthly powwows specifically with the intent of gathering ideas.

The ideas were flowing long before the internet, D.S. Just found a way to utilize them.

The ideas don't stop just because a dam was built.

    Don't blame the idea makers.

I thought Levi maximized his potential to create success here as a leader both on and off the field. He also had his flaws at times. Do I think some of the criticism was a little too much? Yes. But he was not perfect to where he would get 100% praise. I don't think you can find a player in college football who would. As for Des, he is our coach whether we like it or not. But he is also getting paid a nice salary to produce results. And if those results don't match the expectations, people naturally get impatient. For example, these last two weeks of Cajuns football has shown to be inexcusable with the amount of fundamental mistakes we have made. That's not negativity. That is a basic observation that pretty much any Cajun fan will acknowledge.

There is a difference between legitimate concerns and just complaining just to complain. In my honest opinion, most of the topics being discussed over the last few weeks on RP have been over legitimate concerns.

. . . we should all be for free flow of constructive ideas . . . much of what we see here is not that and is probably more destructive for the program than constructive . . . people here know generally if they are posting for a destructive or constructive purpose . . . But when it is the earlier of the two, they don’t like being called out . . .

Some would rather pretend there are no leaks in the boat and will sit silent as it sinks.

How dare you question the boats ability to stay afloat, just trust the captain and ignore all the water in this boat which is rising. The captain knows best, just enjoy the ride and consider yourself lucky to have a seat.
