Absolutely. Just referring to 'the era around my importing days. To this day I still can't believe how lucky the students are to buy a cold one in the Swamp, while we had to go to the outhouse to make a damn drink.

First game 1976. My older sister and husband were living at Vet Village. My Mom drove me to Lafayette, dropped me and a load of groceries off to them for the weekend. We walked from Vet Village to Cajun Field for the game. Can't recall who we played but Cajun Field seemed huge to me at the time.
