That’s a very cool thing to do! I was in HS just down the street when it opened. Went to games prior to starting USL in 74. Honestly say I can’t recall if I made games the inaugural year. Won’t make this final game but already told the wife we’re going next year and definitely the following year to enjoy the new digs.

I think I was there for the first game. My first year at USL was the fall of 1972. If so I was playing in the band. I remember that the crown in the field as not uniform and it made the footing very "tricky" for us and football players. If you are wondering about why there is a pipe across the top of the tunnel on the field side it's because somebody designed a retaining wall and didn't know what they were doing. Just saying.

Exactly like the huge push made for the 50th anniversary season at CF.boy was that a great campaign.

I'm thinking of sitting on the student side for old times sake, may slip a flask of wild turkey in.

LOL. The beauty of being in the band back in the day. Always had a fifth in my trumpet case!

Hah we always slipped it down Mike McGoffins tuba. All we had to do was turn it upside down and viola. Bourbon.

Lol. I’m planning to sit in the upper deck for old time sakes

Since I’ve only been up there once in 20+ years of going to every home game
