If you took the people there and put them in the bottom level of the Cajundome it still would have looked like a bad crowd for basketball.
    That's bad

There was a game in a cold rain against Western Kentucky when Willy Tagart was QB. My 3 brothers and I were standing in that little covered area next to the press box where they used to video from. Since it has been closed in for TV PBP announcers. We were the only people in the entire upper deck. Everyone who watched it in the lower level were all standing underneath the over hang. It was the smallest crowd I ever remember seeing.

I remember parking, watching the band, leaving to go have a few drinks, coming back and getting the same spot. that was dark days at cajun field

Did people actually sit in the upper deck in 1998? The crowds were awful that entire season. You could fit the combined numbers for the 1998 season into one game during the Hud era.

The last home game of the season when they fall on Thanksgiving weekend are traditionally our lowest attended games

The ULM game may be give it a run for the money .

Yes. I have lots of family and friends with season tickets in UF since 1996. Many of the same people from back then are still there today.

Sat there my entire life. Mid 80’s till present day (minus a few “college years”). Dad was there for the first game and will be there for the last.

I know I'm gonna get berated for suggesting something free, but it'd be a little experiment to see if anyone would bite.
Even if they did, they wouldn't announce it til Sat morning with a big email blast, the advocate and their social media....all of which hardly anyone is connected to.
