Maybe he gets a 3 to 4 million a year deal, gross 10 at least, net 5, set retirement.

Don’t think Tulane can compete with UH money.

Tillman Fertitta bankrolls UH. Dude is worth 9.2 Billion. He bought WAITR for 330 million and just let it die. He will not do that to UH athletics.

Not to mention to income taxes in Texas, and a Big 12 job.

Didn't he just sign a 10 year deal with Tulane? What's his buyout?

It’s interesting to watch how the 1% create losses solely as business decisions.

Barrett Jackson Auctions is a small but great example. There is no way a frame off restoration on an average meh 1950’s car makes money at 100k after transportation costs, climatized storage, insurance, maintenance and such, not to mention the original purchase and restoration costs.

Can apply this “hobby” to anything.

Good thing they did not fire him after his 6th year going 2-10 and having a 31-41 overall record and being 10 games under .500. They would have missed out on that cotton bowl win. Never know how close you are to go from losing to 23-3 with a cotton bowl win over USC and on the verge of another NY6. Kinda like Mike Norvel at FSU, crazy what happens when you don’t fire people after 2 years.

I know I mean both programs had 10 win seasons and multiple championships from the previous coaching staff. All they had to do was maintain the momentum.. lol

Valid points. Michigan gave Jim a long leash too, had to get his spy network up apparently.
