Of course we always will. We return a lot this year, We are in position to win all these Games, just like majority of the guys who went 13-1 went 7-7…they figured out how to win, including Napier. Maybe we will get lucky and the second best team in the west will be 4-8,5-7 like when Napier was here when Troy was in the east. Or somebody hires Sumrall away

If you’re selling me on him needing to keep the momentum going, yea…maybe he needs all the carts on the train to keep going.

I’ve said it many times on here, I am an unabashed CMD supporter. If we would have been blown out a bunch of times in the last two seasons and having locker room trouble, yea I’d probably be antsy on wanting a new coaching staff. No I'm not happy about 6-6, but I’m still excited to see what happens next season.

And for everyone that succeeds, 2 fail. There is no exact way to do it, and it’s not like we went out and found the guy…he has been in the building for 10 years. People have worked with him and watched him work. That means something.

I will put you on the spot. I got two questions for you. Please answer them honestly without any emotional feelings attached. The answers need to be under achieved, met expectations, over achieved only. I don't need anything added to the answer that you provide.

Q1. Since Mike has been hired how would you rate the job he has done?

Q2. Since Mike has been hired how would you rate the teams success?

Well SMU was handling Tulane early. Tied at 14 now.

Not a lot of coaching moves this year. Fertitta won’t blink writing that check in a tight market.

    1) I think he has done a good job under the circumstances

    2) the team has under achieved and he would be the first to tell you that

Not sure why you can’t have those opinions and also not think he should be fired

I share this opinion. My addition is, the defensive side of the football needs to be evaluated like the FBI investigating J6. Too many glaring deficiencies on the sideline in too many games.

Mike took a top 25 team and made it into a rebuild. Let that sink in.

How exactly would Mike keep 45 people from leaving for graduation or 6 figures in cash? Explain what you would have done?
