This is 100% correct. We are so far behind in the NIL race we might never compete again.

We just hit up the few deep pockets we have to build the stadium. Now where do we go to get NIL money to keep our star players???

Between the stadium, RCAF, multiple NIL events, the foundation’s 500 million drive and repeated fishing in the same hole, even the deep pockets are down to lint.

Some of the people who gave and gave and gave and gave are now getting old. There are those of us who gave and feel we got nothing for what we gave so we will not give anymore.

Football: during Napier's years we gave and saw a program on the rise. Napier left and what did we get for all our donations? Let's just say "not much".

Basketball: Years ago we were a quality basketball program that could play with the big boys. We gave and gave, and what did we get? Bob Marlin, the king of mediocrity.

Baseball: Tony had our team ranked #1 in the nation. Tony was not only an amazing coach, but he was a more amazing person. People who gave to baseball gave because of the way Tony ran his program. What did we get? I think the jury is still out. Our new coach is not Tony, but in my opinion there is not a coach in the country who could fill Tony's shoes. I'm not saying he was the best coach in America. I'm saying he was the perfect person for the UL job. We were blessed to have him.

You’re reaching man. Many Diaz has a better resume than Napier had.

I’m still hoping for Des to get things corrected. But after two seasons I’m not sure it will. It’s not a talent issue, it’s mental discipline and fundamentals.

Hiring Desormeaux was a very high risk, high reward move. As it stands now, it’s not turned out well.

Not reaching at all, that’s literally what I said. He keeps getting fired but he keeps getting opportunities, like Taggart. Of course his resume looks good.

You gave and felt like you should have got something? When you donate you shouldn't expect to get anything back.

Not sure why you can’t have those opinions and also not think he should be fired
Since you say the team has under achieved, no way can you he has done a good job. The under achievement of the team is the direct reflection of the coaching staff. They had one of the weakest schedules in the country and played 500 ball.

Expect victory. Expect it. You are paying for victory. Not giving for anything less. Period.

I agree with you but "underachieved" can be due to a lot of things besides coaching.

The inability to think quickly in unique game situations I put on Coaches and their early game reliance on scripts. That absolutely stunts their in game thinking ability.

The other factor not on coaches is player injuries. That is huge factor in underachieving.
