Was out there for the first part of the scrimmage with the wife and 2 year old. My little girl had a blast. Got to sit right behind the dugout and watch up close. Good bit of Cajun fans out to watch.

Far as the team was concerned, yes we looked pretty lost at the plate. But going against some solid pitching. Expect the bats to be get it together by the time the season starts.

Jose Torres looked very good defensively at catcher. Made some nice blocks and threw out 2 on the base paths.

Liked what I saw from the pitching staff through most of the first “game”. Holzhammer looked good. Nice off speed/breaking pitch with a fastball topping out at 94 a few times.

Debarge made a tremendous play up the middle to get a guy at first.

Would have made SC top 10. By the time he composed himself he was in dead center. Most of the crowd gave a standing O.

After looking over the stats the Cajun bats were worse than I thought. Struck out 25 times throughout the 18 innings. 14 k’s through the first 8 innings. Brutal

Our mid-week win at all cost World Series doesn't happen in Fall. It's in the Spring. Looking forward to our mid-week championship victory parade and celebration gala in 4 months.

Actually. Cajuns/Tigers meet on SATURDAY March 2 at MinuteMaid in Houston. You don't have to wait that long!
