The bigger question is what will LSU look like when Daniels is gone? He had almost 600 of LSU’s 700 yards of offense!
The proverbial eggs all in one basket.

I think Billy gets 2 more years just because they have been changing coaches way to much and fast recently.
We have Des for at least 2 more years. I hope for longer which would mean he starts competing for conference championships.
Just playing what if. What if FL fires Napier and we have an opening at same time for HC. Ya think he would ever apply here again? If we happen to have an opening upon his firing at FL in 1 or 2 years? Would UL still be interested ?

All that being said, this place won’t be an attractive job anymore if we have to fire a football coach. Let’s hope we are not in this position in 2 years. Need some Momentum with the new stadium and all coming.

Here’s a simple but interesting question: why was Napier so successful in the Sun Belt but so bad in the SEC?

It’s almost as if the Sun Belt isn’t on the same level as the SEC. And if that’s the case, then what would Napier bring back to UL? More Sun Belt success, which still would not compare to any sort of P5 conference success? Sure, UL would obtain some degree of short term gain, but how can anyone think that would translate into longer term success?

Billy inherited a pretty good roster here. Florida was in shambles when he got there and he had to get rid of several cancers in the locker room. If he is given time he will win at Florida.

We can hire Jimbo Fisher. He is about to be canned.

Now that would be quite the pay cut.

Napier's previous coaching/coordinator experience gave him a network of assistants to reach out to.. His staff of Sale/Roberts/Juluke was one of the strongest in G5

Des has no such experience or connections, and that's not something you get "on the job"

We could lose our last 4 too....also to be 5-7.

We know what Napier’s incoming class is ranked, what’s the Dez class looking like? How’s our class ranked against our peers in the belt?
