When was the last time you’ve been inside Cajun Field? It’s a dump. It absolutely has to be renovated. Regardless of attendance.

So, we are going to not get funding and obligations done for us because our football team outperformed the “flagship’s” team? If that’s the case, shut the entire higher Ed system down in this state.

Got to side with Reality Check on this one. Wasted money spent on a renovation with no return on the investment for the foreseeable future. The amenities at Cajun Field were not bad at all for the product that is being put on the field. Hell, band showcases held there draw more attendance than a UL home football game.

The fact is, Cajun Field is in desperate need of a renovation, years beyond when it should have been done.

So the stadium will have 36K seats?

Condemned or renovate no other options.

. . . if it’s not renovated for attendance then just call it sunk costs . . . to not do it for attendance no matter what the goal or agenda may be is just not a good plan . . .

Without charging for use of the stadium and charging for parking. Where is the outrage???!!! It’s revenue!

So you’re saying the product since 2011 isn’t good enough for a renovated stadium? I respectfully disagree.

Not sure if serious. This a project that has taken many years of planning and fund raising. The admin is not just going to say ah never mind the product on the field the last 2 years isn’t up to par we’ll just scrap everything
