We need someone who is willing to fight back. This university is horrified of negative attention. What are they gonna do if he rocks the boat? Can him? If he’s half as good as his supporters claim, he’d be back on his feet in no time, and we would have much needed public light and uproar on the situation. I don’t know if he is checked out, burnt out, or hand tied, but there is no excuse for who he has become. He is passionless and is a fraction of the leader he was when he came in the door. We can not have anyone inside the organization on autopilot just along for the ride, much less the guy at the very top.
But there should be a list of at least 5 names that get the axe, TODAY.
I’ll give you a couple of reasons.
One, this is major college football. That’s not how major college football operates.
Two: Some personnel/staff are probably civil service employees. Again, that’s not how civil service operates.
Three: A mascot is somewhere in the future. It will make it all better.
I’m actually embarrassed right now for the state of our program. My drunk ass walked home from the game last night and went straight to the “Our Town Our Team” Ragin’ Cajuns sign in my yard, and threw that ____ away! I agree with MAT.
If Maggard had a backbone and principles, he'd resign 12/1.
