The ability to say "that's sports" to a team staying home.

So what did UL accomplish more than LSU?
    Only the name Louisiana. Forever.

    There's still a chance.

"Refuses to use" implies there for the taking. I agree.

"They can try" implies work, that is harder to come by, can it be outsourced?

The stupidity it takes for people on this board to incessantly argue against a possibility that literally unfolded at this very school just 2 seasons ago (and the year before it) shows you their true intentions and genuine ignorance.

With the new CFP format, conference realignment and a much stronger SBC, making the CFB is not only possible, it should be the goal. Winning the SBC is always our stated goal. We went to 4 consecutive SBC CGs and should have been 5 if Covicd Carolina doesn't run from the ass whipping. We finished top 16 in the country two years in a row and had the nation's longest winning streak. On two occasions, we were 2nd or 3rd in line to the NY6 bowl, and only by a missed FG and dropped Ragas pass in 2020.

Is there a chance? Not only is there a chance, there's a high probability.

I get that 51% is "probability." I see "high" probability being a bit more nebulous. but you must have had a number in mind when you spoke to the stupid and ignorant posters--do you think there's a 75% probability the cajuns are in the cfp? 80%?

And in the end, all of it means playing in another meaningless bowl game, of which there are now 42. Big whoop.

Based on the Napier era and new format, as I referenced, we would have been at the door step 5 consecutive years. So you tell me..

Thank you!!!!! We were one of the top G5 programs in the country for 2 years.
We have made bowls consistently for years now. This football program can be and should be a championship caliber program year in and year out with the Talent available just in Louisiana. We are the second largest university in the state. Billy proved that we can recruit top recruits who actually succeed here and make it to the NFL.

I would hate to see all the momentum gone in just a few years. That is why I think most of the fan base is upset.

Lets get to to a bowl and win it!!!!!!!! There is still some hope to not take a step back going into 2024 when all changes and when we will actually have a shot at competing for a conference championship which could mean we have a real possibility at getting into the College Football playoffs.
