Dude, ALL of the Bowls outside of the NY6 are pretty meaningless for the schools that participate in them. Outside of extra practice time and some nice swag for the players, it's all rubbish.

And that’s every year, not just the year a national championship is won. THAT is what the advantages are of being a MAJOR college in football.
