He is working with his 3rd string QB. His seat will remain as cold as ice for at least another year. If we finish with less than 5 wins next year then his seat may thaw a little.

Not that I agree with that, but if we can keep Marlin hanging around for 15 years, Des ain’t gonna be feeling any heat anytime soon. We’d have a better chance of him voluntarily moving on because he knows it isn’t his time.

I don't care what any of you say or think. I was right when I said Mike should have been fired last year. You guys are now seeing what I already knew. The Cajuns have a fricken high school coach with a jv coaching staff. I'm done. My family will drop our 6 football season tickets next season. I would rather support winning teams.

We can’t get out of our own way. We go from being ranked, longest winning streak in the country, having a vacancy that might be attractive to another up and coming coach to…hiring the tight end’s coach from New Iberia and losing multiple games we shouldn’t have.

I guess I was a fool to expect anything else. USL gonna USL.

That stadium could be completely empty aside from the 2 teams, and that seat is not hot this year. His seat won’t be hot with a similar season next year. Only thing left to do is hope he gets better. This university had momentum, got scared, and handed the keys a coach with no experience to drive us straight back to where we are comfortable.
