I’m not so sure they do that. I took a guess a while back after hearing maggards podcast with Jay I think. He said something along the lines of making this game something to celebrate about. The context clues were leading to stadium reveal but I have since learned different. They may talk about it tonight on the broadcast but I wouldn’t count on seeing the rendering in an official manner till next week. It’s kind of mind boggling how much they have fumbled this thing.
Most folks aren’t invested financially like I am. Granted, it’s not a huge sum but it’s money that I directly gave to this project. I’m sure there are others in my position too. I’m very interested and that is all that matters to me.
. . . In fairness to JMV, I’m pretty sure nobody has any INTREST . . . but many, many, many fans are more similarly situated like you and very much have INTEREST in the project . . . let the interest rise . . .
All LHSAA volleyball players, parents, families, coaches should have an open invite free ticket to the game tonight. Tons of them are in town. Open invitation to see the Louisiana Ragin Cajuns!!!Game day!!!
Problem with that could be, if admission is free doesn't that make every student-athlete become classified as a recruiting visit? And thus they and our team might go over the limit?
At least tease us with the Cajun Field renovations reveal. It was my understanding tonight is the night they show things off on National TV. Is that still the case? If so, let the fans know.
It was probably going to be during a commercial break lead-in, but since the other thread asked for less commercials it is on the cutting room floor

The optics of doing that on national tv with a mostly empty stadium in the backdrop.... Oof
Oh well. I'll be inside the stadium and wouldn't have seen the announcement anyway. Hopefully some updated renderings get released soon
That plus a stinker last week really puts a damper on this game. Attendance will be awful.
Honestly I can't remember a home game that I have felt this lethargic about
Same. Which is crazy. If you had told me 10-15 years ago we’d have a nationally televised conference home game against Southern Miss, less than 10K were expected, and I would barely want to go…man. I’d have thought you were nuts.

After a few years removed from 2 years in the top 25 and two SBC championships. Wow. Crazy times.
It’s just crazy. We have been wanting USM to come to Cajun Field and here it is. Maybe we will be surprised and people will show up??
