    So none of the cajuns would have brought a French bible along? Also the first group mentioned as being in America at that time may have been french, but were they already cajun? Or did the acadiens/cajuns not arrive until after the grand derangement?

    Again, it was mearly a timeline reference for the most widely read Bible in the U. S.

    A Bible "translation" many believe to be much older than it actually is.

    Cajuns have been here longer than its been around.

    Translations of Bibles change pretty often lately. Mostly adding pronouns to include the feminine or collective gender in a Biblical manner.
