This could be the end of college athletics. I think most universities would just say, that's it I'm out.

How long before this line of thinking affects academic endeavors?

Patents, endowements, student research grants.

Paying for an education is different but when the University makes huge profits off the students some, might wamt a return on their investment.

Athletes having a required "Pay to Play" (with hope of a, NIL return) might be the only option for amateur organizations.

NFL uses revenue sharing48.8%. Apply this to P5 contract revenues back thru 2016 as law suit states and most SEC schools would be on the hook for a half billion +/-
