Only Restaurants sell alcohol in Jonesboro. Isn't that crazy? There are a few places on the county lines you can buy, but none in the town.

J TOWN GRILL on campus is an awesome place to eat. It is right by the stadium. The Ribeye Cheese steak is delicious and yes they sell alcohol there.

It’s an Arkansas thing. Stopped years ago for a planned dining experience with a large group in northern Arkansas. We could order drinks in a conference room social setting. But to cross the main hall to the dining area, staff had to transport the drinks via the kitchen area.
