Additionally that’s an article, not a study. It’s that guy’s opinion. But was it the lifting? Or was it the lack of throwing? Or both? Or neither? Regardless, that example has zero similarity to this situation.

    Stop making silly arguments
I didn't cherry pick anything the need to practice is right there in the link.

The need for practice still relates to overcoming the loss of, and regaining of muscle memory.

With QB, it's more mechanics of throwing memory than muscle memory...those could be related ..

Well they practice, so what’s your point?

Does anyone know the 5 players that were out on defense this weekend?

Dont place your QB behind the 8-ball on having to overcome something he shouldn't have to overcome.

Adding strength in the middle of the season is sensless when what he really needs is to maintain accuracy and finesse.

Ther is plenty of time for strength training in the offseason provided it's shut down in time to hone mechanics and accuracy through muscle memory.

And you know he tried to add strength? Or are you talking out of your ass?

I know three that didn’t start: Agu, Anderson, Guidry. Then Ossai got hurt and was out.

Flowers went out as well from a shoulder injury.

Flowers and Ossai both came back after a series or two. Dez mentioned something today about playing without 5 players on D but I wasn’t counting those two being they returned, but technically Dez is right.

Coach Zeno had a neat way to strengthen the QB arm...wet a football to make it heavy and throw it as far as you can on day 1. On day 2, throw short passes thru a tire for accuracy. This was an offseason workout.
