I believe you all will be surprised at how good of stats either Ben or Chandler will put up next year if either can make it a whole year without getting injured. I bet either of them breaks school records for single season yards and tds. And they will mentor the young guys behind them to get ready for the future.

Now you're just pulling stuff out your @$$. You believe? What does that mean? So you think Zeon left because you believe he didn't like that Des supposedly told him he had to compete? LoL. C'mon man. Dude left because he was offered a boatload of money. It's not that "a bunch of us think he's better than he is". He IS that talented. You know why no one offered Ben or Chandler that kind of money? Because they aren't as talented. Period. I'm guessing you didn't hear PJ Flecks post-game interview after the Minnesota game? Dude raved about Zeon.

C'mon Buds. You think that was all on Zeon??? Pretty sure coaching and scheme had way more to do with that than Zeon.

Really got lucky at Texas State, he threw what should have been a game losing pick at a crucial point in the game instead of throwing the ball away. Somehow the defender dropped it. He really didn’t have to do anything against south Alabama. When your defense gets 5 turnovers it’s kind of hard to lose. Teams were figuring him out.

He was probably told he had to compete with Ben. Cajuns will be fine at QB. Ben will be starter next year and he will mentor Lunch and the new freshman to compete for the job in the future.
Do you believe all this or just trying to feel better. He was a year or 2 away from playing his best football and was clearly the best choice we had as a rs freshman.

Ben is a solid QB, we are blessed to have him in the QB room next year.

Beale HS highlights give me deja vu of Jake Delhomme. Has both the skills with the leadership intangibles.

    Very excited for 2024
So Lunch it is. Can he run? We will not have a high level of success without a QB that has legs.

Absolutely not all on Zeon, but the end result remains the same.

Drew’s Mothers brother was a linebacker for the cajuns and his daddy is the biggest cajuns fan you will ever meet. Drew was at every home football, basketball and baseball game here growing up. He was a huge cajuns fan his whole life. When it came to college he went on several visits and chose what he thought was best for him. He was not anti UL in any way shape or form. It was actually just the opposite, signing at ole miss tugged at his heart strings some.
