If their team is vastly underperforming their talent level [Hint: Ours did], they will hit the portal to try to find a place with better coaching and/or more dedicated players. Quarterbacks transferring is now commonplace today in college football. Look at all the starting QB's and QB's in general that entered the portal seeking $$$ or more playing time. It is crazy. Not a good look IMO for college football. If you have a good young QB don't get too attached. Good chance he will be gone after a stellar season to a place willing to pony up big $$$.
