NIL money should be spent on OL and DL. Those are the hardest positions for G5 teams to find. Our recruiting area is filled with skill position players. Sure we will lose some high end difference makers, but we have proven that we can find QB, RB, WR, LB and CB.
Dominate the LOS and you can fill in the rest.

This stuff just makes it so difficult to be a fan of college sports now. You can’t get attached to players, you can’t build up a roster because your players will get poached.

I think the way forward is to play the game too. You have to build and utilize the collective. You have to use the portal to survive. The days of relying solely on finding and developing high school talent are likely gone. Look for underdeveloped talent in the portal and at least when you get them here with a transfer, they have to stay right?
