This lost is directly on the coaches. The worst should have been a game tying FG and we go into overtime.

Let’s be negative.
Great tailgate. Garbage crowd.
Zeon was all we had that game. Counted 5 drops. Granted. Some of those were high, but they had hands on them.
Credit to the D. They did their job.
3-4, totally thought it would be a sneak.
Against a statistically terrible pass D we were equally as awful on offense.
Our punter sure was shaky tonight. And our KOff guy. He struggled with both again. Kenny’s miss just was catastrophic. Worst time. Needed points then.
Our Oline was dominated by Ga St on way too many plays. Plus their linebackers were really quick to the ball. Our running game except for Zeon was not consistent. Hate for our QB to get hit so many times.
Their RB was a load. Our three man front could not handle him. Our LBs got to him late. Second half better. But too late.
Very disappointed. We still have not put a complete game together. At some point I wonder. Seems like we should improve in some areas. But all we are is inconsistent. Really dumb penalties at the most critical times. Arm tacking. Poor punt. Poor coverage.
And then a magnificent 4th down play but no points. Killer. So disappointing.
Trying to be positive now.
4 and 3.
Championship is not out of reach, but maaaaan you screwed that up.
We’re a better team than last year. Just sha…t that one away tonight. Brutal.
Message to Zeon and future quarterbacks: Stay away from upper body work outs (on your off weeks) you arm accuracy can't afford muscle memory amnesia in the middle of the season.
Geaux for it in the off season.
This one hurt y’all.
Another one score game lost. Gosh we have talent in this team. So close.
Scrap it get back to work.
Got home after the game last night, tried MH’s practice of not posting right after a game.
Georgia State was bigger, stronger and faster. Should have beaten UL the first half like a rented mule…but they didn’t.
Cajuns didn’t quit and Georgia State was over confident the second half. It was there for the taking.
That said…yes CMD, I agree you can’t look at one play. At the same time during the late drive, back to back penalties happened. A 10 and 5 yarder was overcome, but that was greater than where the drive died from the EZ. Then a questionable pass play for a pick. ZC needed to roll out so he could see better, problem all night. The drive looked ok, ended up a cf.
I said 6-6 in August, and it’s looking like a possibility. Excuses abound. It’s still a loss of a winnable game.
