I agree with Turbine they need to be more kid friendly, like Swamp. So here are a few more ideas.
An updated Fabulous Cajun Chicken.
A Lafayette staple, car wash.
Finally, a snowball. Kind of an odd one since LA is hot AF but we are known for our snowballs. The adult version “daiquiri” would be an awesome concession item along with snowballs for the kids.

Long time lurker, first time poster. My idea is a rougarou swamp monster would be a fun and unique mascot. It could be named Tye as in Ta Tye. It would brand the Cajun name, would tie in to the swamp on campus, isn’t a gator that is used by another college, is something traditional to Cajun culture, and just would be fun.

I still remember the first time I heard the French old timers mention the Rouga.
