I really think the batting average and on base percentage will be better this coming season. I really like what I have seen from this group with the bats. Not a lot of strikeouts and plenty of balls put into play.

Since this opponent score was greater than the previous three games, does that mean SLU is the best team we've faced this Fall? Or, were there fielding errors coming into play in that score?

I don’t know what SLU has this year but they challenged mcneese for the SLC title last year and had 47 wins and gave us a challenge when we played them. I know we beat them 7-0 but for the first 5 innings it was 0-0 last year.
This was a top 50 RPI team that beat two SBC teams and took 2 of 3 regular season games from McNeese. They are a good team.
