not here to say cajuns don't play major college football. but i'm not of the belief that "sources stats and evidence" are really the crux of it. for example--if one sat. a.m. i wake up and think to myself i am in the mood for some major college football, and i scroll the guide, for a fact if i see akron v. ball state, my mind will NOT register that that there is a major college football game. i guess it's sorta like justice stewart's litmus test on the obscenity thing--"i know it when i see it."
"practically" means there are exceptions, which is why I propose a much harder schedule with 5 home games till perceptions like yours change.
If Louisiana were not major college football they would not have the option to schedule the best teams in the country. Whether they exercise that option is another matter.
As with most topics there is a spectrum to these things.
"Delusional" resides in not recognizing the spectrum and the options available.
The estimated attendance of 21,263 for the third-place game between Pearland, Texas, and Mexico broke the old record of 414,905 set in 2011 when Keystone from nearby Clinton County was here.
This record of 425,746 for 31 games.... (13k with Penn teams in)
