NEW ORLEANS (AP) - New Orleans' filmmaking Duplass brothers are
preparing for a six-week New Orleans shoot on the Paramount-backed
comedy "Jeff Who Lives at Home," with comic actors Jason Sege
and Ed Helms.
Jay Duplass tells The Times-Picayune that he and his brother
Mark have a couple other names attached to the film they can't yet
announce.
Segel, of "How I Met Your Mother" and "Forgetting Sarah
Marshall," will play the title role in what the brothers describe
as an "epically small adventure through the suburbs." Helms, who
has been in "The Office" and "The Hangover," will play Jeff's
"curmudgeonly, ornery older brother Pat."
The Duplasses are Jesuit High School graduates from Metairie.
No release date has been set for "Jeff Who Lives at Home." The
Duplasses are looking toward a release in spring 2011.
