Vintage SLII (transition) to UL

Since Vintage 125 effort is happening, I thought I would do an absolute vintage transition from SLII to UL. Keeping as many of the original aspects as possible intact.

The SLII logo was the official logo when the school opened in 1901 to 1921.

The transition I did is a natural transition from being an Institution to being a University.

this was done in the spirit of "Vintage."

A smooth transition from past to present, is the goal.

As the “I”s connect have the L also slide down. Boom.

I like it alot. I like the fact that it's unique when compared to U of Louisville, which has the typical U higher than the L.

I like it a lot too. The greeks should make it their official UL logo. Imagine the three verticals as greek parthanon pillars.

The moving graphics would be very cool but the finished look would scream Louisville even if they don't use it anymore.

Trying to keep it as original as possible, and original if possible.
