Bad helmet idea, yea. Of course the '97 season forever ties it that depressing season, therein giving it a terrible association. But wait until you discover the meaning behind it.

We did that same year for homecoming. We also wore them last year for homecoming and against southern miss.

The tri fleur is ancient. It has great significant relevance to not only us Louisianians but a very far older meaning.

As someone posted a while back when we had a discussion about this helmet, a great point was made about the FDLs in its design - they weren't exactly hard core, instead they were "soft". Next, the damn associated '97 season nearly wipes out its use again.
