Thread: Cajuns Script

  1. Default Cajuns Script

This article about Coke's logo made me think of the value of the original Cajuns logo.

This should be the main focus of the vintage collection I suggested 10 years ago.

    Cajuns and Lady Cajuns.

    I do not.

The hollow part of the style is similar to a known font (brush script) but not exact and thinner. The outline is unique.

In 1984 when Tommy Lasorda visited another script was used.

    The helmet was 1999.

Who came up with the overall design?

Big Lynn had a good eye for things like this.

He commissioned me for a few years to make vinyl lettering to put on the glass of senior jersery frames.

We seem to be using the script CAJUNS more and more and I like it. Tired of the old Ragin Cajuns logo. It needs to be updated and maybe using CAJUNS is it.

Script Cajuns has always been THE BEST logo for our athletics. Never should have been taken off the helmets.

Great points. And I like those old helmets. And of course after all it is Cajun Field not ragin Cajun field. However, which name is official? As we see how bent out of shape some get when something not official is presented

Why are we going away from Louisiana? Worked so hard to be recognized that way.
