It's bold in its simplicity. It makes you take notice. Its memorable. I love it.

The UL is the best logo we could use. If we would just put it on the side of the helmets, we would be fine, but we won't for some reason. If Martin Hall refuses to do that, then the L is the next best option.

If I had to bet my bottom dollar that the reason being is because of the LSU Rule.

We cannot use UL and just UL we can use UL-Lafayette or ULL, but no UL so I think the powers that be decided not to use it and just went the Ragin Cajuns route.

……It has come around to a situation where certainly more people say UL than ULL….we say it in our fight song and even sometimes in official news releases……just use Louisiana and UL…..TRY IT…..WHAT WILL BE THE PENALTY/
