If they do have Louisiana, it won't be because they asked, it will be because they listened.

Sad that a school that doesn’t even own the name can do better then a school that actually has the Louisiana name . Really is kinda sad.

All are reactions to suggestions by Louisiana fans.

Its how they stake a claim.

Unfortunately Louisiana fans hammered it in the ground intended for Martin Hall and someone else saw the wisdom and is hammering it home.

I'm not against vintage but with a Louisiana void and comparing the two, Louisiana is moving backwards while LSU is moving forward.

Oh well.... that was fun, but it wasnt...

The one with the two tone three d state would have looked great with red and black.

Same logo and same astros gear, some will be happy

. . . some would prefer for the purple team to be both Louisiana State and Louisiana than to stake our claim . . . in one day some have here proclaimed to not play major college football at Louisiana and that there should be no interest in developing a logo that identifies us as Louisiana . . . maybe with fans like that Louisiana might as well keep the number at 18,000 or below

I don't understand LSU's "L" logo. They have one of the most recognizable college brands in the world. You take that "L" logo visor and wear it anywhere outside of Tiger Stadium and no one knows what you're wearing.

Same reason I'm not really interested in our university adopting an "L" logo at this moment.

This is an obvious strategy by lsubr. They are going to capture any emblem or notion of "Louisiana" to be associated with them. It is a smart strategy because our branding strategy is Ragin Cajuns first and foremost.

The again, after thinking about it ... the more LSU tries to move forward the more they show they are still stuck in 1984.
